Your phone was lost or stolen

We strongly recommend you reset your password and setup 2-Step Verification on another device you own if your phone is lost or stolen.

Step 1: Sign in to F6S with your backup codes

  • Go to F6S and sign in to your account
  • Click the Use backup code link
  • Type one of the backup codes you’ve saved when you turned on 2-Step Verification
  • Click Next or press the Enter key

Note: Contact support@f6s.com if you cannot get into your account. You will need to verify your identity to make sure you are authorized to access your account.

Step 2: Change phone

  • Go to the Security & Privacy tab
  • Click the Change Phone link
  • Confirm your password or social login
  • Click the Use backup code link
  • Type one of the backup codes you’ve saved when you turned on 2-Step Verification
  • Click Next or press the Enter key
  • Follow the steps on the screen

Step 3: Reset password

  • Go to your Account settings page
  • Click the Change your password link
  • Confirm your current password or social login
  • Open the authenticator app on your phone or tablet
  • Enter your 6-digit verification code in F6S
  • Click Next or press the Enter key
  • Type your current password and a new password
  • Click Save

You can’t access your authenticator app

We recommend that you set-up 2-Step Verification on another device or app you have if you can’t access your authenticator app.

You lost your backup codes

You can revoke your backup codes and get new ones if you’ve lost them or are afraid that someone else might have access to them.

  • Go to the Security & Privacy tab in your Settings Page
  • Click See codes
  • Confirm your password or social login
  • Open the authenticator app on your phone or tablet
  • Enter your 6-digit verification code on F6S
  • Click Next or press the Enter key
  • Click Get new codes to get new backup codes. The old codes will stop working right away. 
  • Save your backup codes in a safe place you can always access
